Having control over the entire inspection process, from planning and execution to reporting and data, is essential to ensuring structural integrity. With structural inspections certified by classification bodies, we believe it is vital to put expertise in the field to collect the correct information about the integrity of your structure.

Since 2009, TECH-INSP has been performing structural inspections on a variety of offshore structures. Our structural inspectors are experienced in accurately reporting deterioration such as fatigue cracks, corrosion, warping or dents, which serves as the basis for integrity assessments. When necessary, our inspectors liaise with integrity engineers to ensure a complete description of anomalies and adjust the scope of the inspection as needed.

TECH-INSP has developed long-term inspection programmes for new assets and modified programmes for older assets. Our extensive field experience allows us to propose what information should be collected to meet the client’s needs.

Our structural inspectors are supported in the field by our quality control department, which includes NDT technicians, paint inspectors, welding inspectors and other specialists as needed to optimize the execution of the work.

We perform inspections in challenging areas such as at heights, in the splash zone or in confined spaces. We understand the risks, procedures and skills required to perform the work safely.
